INFORMACIJE O ŠOLI

Šola:
Zgrajena je bila leta 1980. Tedaj je šola delovala kot enota OŠ Karla Destovnika Kajuha. Pouk je potekal v obeh stavbah v dveh izmenah, skupno število učencev pa je preseglo 1650. V šolskem letu 1992/93 je postala samostojna osnovna šola Božidarja Jakca.
Učenci:
309 učencev (14 oddelkov) razredne stopnje in 287 učencev (12 oddelkov) predmetne stopnje.
Zaposleni:
45 učiteljev in 21 ostalih delavcev.
Prostorske razmere:
10 učilnic za razredni pouk, 15 učilnic za predmetni pouk, knjižnica, računalniška učilnica, 2 telovadnici, večnamenski prostor, kuhinja, pisarne, zbornica, zobna ambulanta.
Lokacija:
V vzhodnem delu mesta med Ljubljanico in Golovcem (Štepanjsko naselje).

INFORMATION ABOUT SCHOOL

School:
The school was built in 1980 as a dislocated unit of Karel Destovnik Kajuh primary school. There were more than 1650 pupils registered at that time so the classes took place in shifts (morning and afternoon). In the year 1992/93 the unit was separated from parent plant and an independent school was established under the new name Bozidar Jakac primary school.
Pupils:
309 pupils aged 7 to 11 (14 lower classes) and 287 pupils aged 11 to 15 (12 upper classes).
Employees:
45 teachers and 21 other employees.
Room conditions:
10 classrooms for lower classes, 15 classrooms for upper classes, a library, a computer equipped classroom, 2 gymnasiums, a multi purpose room, a kitchen, offices, a staff room, the dentist.
Location:
It is located in the Eastern part of Ljubljana between the river Ljubljanica and the Golovec hill (area is called Stepanjsko naselje).
